More than half of this production was filmed during the first week of rehearsals, this is a show that lives half in reality and half in the static of a vintage TV screen. The ghosts were inspired by 80s cultural icons, Stevie Nicks for The Ghost of Christmas Past, Duran Duran for The Ghost of Christmas Present, and Linda Evangelista for the Ghost of Christmas Future. Everyone in the cast beside Scrooge played at least 4 different characters - and with no space for a backstage crew and quick changes up to 5 seconds short, I had a lot of fun designing a show that was vibrant, period accurate-ish, and actor friendly.
